and The Battle Continues...
During the past four years there have been many memorable hard fought battles between New York LAK basketball teams and Philadelphia's ARO basketball teams. It seems that no matter how hard each team fights, it can never truly get an upper hand over the other team.
Every year New York's several basketball teams meet several of ARAS teams and invariably the teams split the games.
This year the two clubs met again on February 9. And again the clubs split the games, New York winning two games: girls B team and men's A team, while ARAS won the Boys D again as well as the Boys A game.
Both clubs are gearing their teams to the big showdown during the East
Coast Basketball tournament which will take place in Philadelphia on June 1st and
2nd. In the meantime, to get ready for this big shootout , both clubs will
meet for a series of "friendly" games in New York on April 20, 2002.Aras will also travel to
Washington DC to further refine its skills by playing
several games with DC Vejas teams.
