The 1999 LMHA Annual Picnic at Polanka Park was different this year. Attendees came expecting the usual great food, good company, dancing, and crafts. In addition to all of the events that the local community has grown know and love, this year's picnic included some new attractions which made it one of the best in the last ten years. In addition to the perfect weather, the much bigger crowd made it a FUN event. In attendence this year were three star senior basketball players, playing for colleges in the area: Kestutis Marciulionis who plays for the Delaware Blue Hens, Alvydas Tenys who plays for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, and Rimas Kaukenas, who plays for Seton Hall Pirates.
