        I have acquired much experience by serving as the chapter president of LAC in Washington, DC during 1988-91 at the most critical time when Lithuania was fighting to regain her Independence.  I have also served as a member of XIII Board of Directors of LAC.  This is my third year working in the capacity of LAC Director of Public Affairs Office in Washington, DC.  LAC Public Affairs Office is a vital link to our 70 LAC chapters, regions between the LAC National Executive Committee, the US Government Institutions and the Republic of Lithuania's Government officials.

        I know that the experience that I have gained is very unique.  By working day-to-day within the framework of LAC I understand and feel the pulse of the organization.  I would like to contribute this experience by being your representative at the XVI-Th Board of Directors of LAC, Inc. and representing LAC at the 10^th World Lithuanian Community, Inc. Council in Vilnius, Lithuania.
