ROMA KRUŠINSKIENE, Churchville, PA

        I am a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother of 4.  I hold down a full time position in the health care administration for a large OB/GYN practice in Yardley, PA.  I have been a part of the Lithuanian community most of my life, belonging to Ateitininkai, singing with the Viltis choir and St. Andrew Parish choir, and having danced with the folk dance group Vakarine.

        Have been on the board of the Philadelphia Lithuanian Community, for 4 years acting as treasurer and for 4 years thereafter acting as chairperson.  With the new wave of immigrants from Lithuania, I have become aware of their needs and requests for assistance, as well as the communities need for involvement in these matters.

        I have gained expertise in the duties of the Lithuanian-American Community.  Having been actively involved in the planning of the LAC Board of Directors session here in Philadelphia, I feel I gained a better understanding of its mission and purpose.

        I present myself as a candidate to the LAC Board of Directors, representing the Philadelphia area, on a platform that my experience in the area chapter can be a positive and useful input on the National level.
