DONATAS SKUCAS, Fairfax, VA

        Donatas Skucas is the current Chairman of the Board.  Under his leadership the Board passed amendments to the by-laws allowing non-Lithuanian spouses to become full members of LAC, Inc.  To encourage greater participation of second generation, and later generations of American Lithuanians in Community activity, the use of English was also sanctioned.  He has worked hard to integrate newly arrived Lithuanians into LAC, Inc. activities.  Much has been achieved during the chairmanship of Donatas Skucas, yet much more needs to be done: looking out for the interest of Lithuania in Washington, including achieving NATO status, economic help and democratization.  A retired military pilot, he devotes a lot of time to the Lithuanian cause.  Re-elect Donatas Skucas to represent the southeastern district on the Board of Directors and the X World Lithuanian Community Congress.
