When Zilvinas gets to the Home, it performs several Lithuanian folk dances, and then invites the residents and the Sisters who are willing and able, to join them in several additional dances. In the meantime, between dances -- Lynn Cox and her Lithuanian Country band play some Lithuanian Christmas carols (and also a few English ones) and get all the residents to sing along.
It is truly a sight to behold -- the joy that this one hour brings to the members of the St. Joseph's community.
After the program, the members of Zilvinas help give out the refreshments to the folks -- something they really enjoy doing. This gives them an opportunity to talk to the residents, as well as giving the residents a chance to meet the members of Zilvinas, great all the way around, a win-win situation.
This is just another event for Zilvinas and the Lithuanian American Community  to help spread joy to deserving members of our community .
