July 30, 2000

smithmem.jpg (15057 bytes) The Annual LMHA "Lithuanian Day" Picnic will be held July 30th this year at Smith Memorial Playground which is a private area secluded deep in Fairmont Park not far from Boat House Row. The grounds are easy to locate from Kelly drive and plenty of supervised parking will be available. This year the Lithuanian Music Hall is breaking from its traditional fall date and the Polanka location to hold the picnic in the summer.
The playgrounds has two "lifeguard surpervised" pools; a wading pool and a swimming pool. Just right for everyone to take a dip during the picnic. pool.jpg (14921 bytes)
