This year, members of the Lithuanian-American community gathered at St. George’s (Sv. Jurgio) parish in Port Richmond, where Msgr. Juozas Anderlonis celebrated Mass. (St. George’s is the only one of the three Lithuanian churches in Philadelphia built by Lithuanians for Lithuanians; the other buildings were purchased.)
