Following Mass, all were invited to join in the celebration at the Lithuanian Music Hall. Kaimo Kapela (The Lithuanian Country Band) led the audience in singing the National Anthem and the Lithuanian Anthem. Monsignor Juozas Anderlonis, pastor of St. George’s parish, opened the ceremonies with an invocation, reminding us of the words of the Lithuanian anthem: "Let the sun banish all darkness from Lithuania, with light and truth always guiding our steps. Let the love of Lithuania burn in our hearts and for the sake of our country, let unity blossom."
